What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files that a site, or a tool connected to it, stores in your browser. The browser sends them back with every request to the domain they were stored for. Similar technologies are localStorage and sessionStorage: they also store data in the browser but do not send it to a server automatically. Entries in sessionStorage disappear when you close the tab.

First-party cookies are stored for our site’s domain, even when a tool provider’s code creates them. Third-party cookies are stored for the provider’s domain, such as doubleclick.net or facebook.com, and our site can neither read nor delete them.

Categories and your consent

We use three categories. Necessary ones are always on. We turn on analytics and marketing only with your consent in the cookie banner, separately for each category.

  • Necessary. They remember your cookie choice and the main headline variant for the duration of a visit. The site itself stores them in localStorage. Without them the site cannot remember your choice, so they cannot be turned off.
  • Analytics. Google Analytics 4 counts visits and shows which sections are useful. Microsoft Clarity builds heatmaps and session recordings: clicks, scrolling, mouse movements. The contents of the request form and the calculator are hidden from Clarity.
  • Marketing. Google Ads, Meta Pixel and TikTok Pixel count which ads bring requests and help show our ads to visitors of this site on other sites and platforms.

Before you choose, and if you choose “Only necessary”, the analytics and marketing tools are not loaded at all: their code never reaches your browser, so they store nothing and receive nothing. The site itself sets no cookies. Refusing analytics or marketing does not limit the site or the request form.

Google receives consent signals from us (Google Consent Mode v2): everything is denied by default, and only what you agreed to is granted. So if you allow analytics only, Google Analytics stores no advertising cookies. Microsoft Clarity always receives a denial of advertising storage from us, so, according to Microsoft’s documentation, it shares no data with Microsoft Advertising.

When you send a request, the tools learn only that a request was sent and possibly which plan you chose. They do not receive your name, phone number, e-mail, company name or comment.

Your choice is valid for 12 months. After that the cookie banner appears again.

List of cookies and stored entries

The table lists everything that may be stored in your browser on our site. Analytics and marketing entries appear only after you consent to their category, and only when the tool needs them: for example, _fbc only after you arrive from a Meta ad. The <ID> part of a name is the identifier the tool assigned to our site.

  • Retention periods for the Google, Microsoft, Meta and TikTok tools are set by those providers, and they may change them. We give the periods from the providers’ documentation as of the date of this version. A period usually runs from the last update of the cookie, and your browser may shorten it: Chrome, for example, keeps cookies for no more than 400 days.
  • Microsoft does not publish retention periods for Clarity cookies, and some entries are not documented by their providers (_cltk, _fbleid, fbcEbpOrigin, _tt_enable_cookie, the tt_… entries). For these we give the entries and periods from the tools’ own code.
  • Third-party cookies are stored only if your browser allows them; some browsers block them by default. If your browser already holds Google, Meta or TikTok cookies, for example because you use their services, it may send them to these providers along with the tools’ requests.
  • Microsoft also lists the cookies MUID, MR, ANONCHK and SM for Clarity. They are stored by a synchronisation of the MUID identifier across Microsoft domains, which Clarity runs only when advertising storage is granted. We do not grant it.

Providers

The analytics and marketing tools are provided by the following companies. Each describes its cookies and data processing on its own pages:

  • Google: Google Analytics 4, Google Ads. Company for the EEA and Switzerland: Google Ireland Limited (Ireland). Details: Google cookies, privacy policy.
  • Microsoft: Microsoft Clarity. Company for the EEA and Switzerland: Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited (Ireland). Details: Clarity cookies, privacy statement.
  • Meta: Meta Pixel. Company for the EEA: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Ireland). Details: cookies policy.
  • TikTok: TikTok Pixel. Company for the EEA: TikTok Technology Limited (Ireland). Details: TikTok Pixel cookies, privacy policy.

The legal bases, the roles of RazomGroup and the providers, transfers of data outside the EEA and your rights are described in the Privacy Policy.

How to change your choice or withdraw consent

You can change your choice or withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it: with the button below or the “Cookie settings” button at the bottom of every page. Turn categories on or off and press “Save choice”.

When you turn off a category you allowed before:

  • We tell the tools of that category that consent has been withdrawn.
  • We delete their cookies and storage entries on our site’s domain, that is, all first-party entries of that category in the table.
  • The page reloads, and from then on the tools of that category are not loaded.

Our site cannot delete third-party cookies on the providers’ domains. You can delete them in your browser settings or with the provider itself, for example in the ad settings of your Google, Meta or TikTok account.

Withdrawal takes effect for the future and does not delete data the providers have already received. How to exercise your rights over such data is described in the Privacy Policy.

How to delete data in your browser

In your browser settings you can view and delete cookies and site data, and block third-party cookies. Third-party cookies are deleted as the data of the providers’ sites: google.com, doubleclick.net, googleadservices.com, google-analytics.com, clarity.ms, facebook.com, tiktok.com.

If you delete our site’s data, the record of your choice goes too, so the cookie banner appears again. If your browser blocks storage for our site, the site still works but cannot remember your choice, and the banner appears on every page.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal of marketing. The marketing tools are not loaded, even if you agreed to marketing earlier, and the marketing switch in the settings is off and cannot be changed. You can still allow analytics separately.

Microsoft states that Clarity also supports Global Privacy Control: with this signal, Clarity does not start even if you allow analytics.

Changes and contact

We publish each new version on this page; its date is shown at the top. If we add a tool or change the categories, the cookie banner appears again and we ask for your consent again.
